Chris Grady, creator of the comic series Lunarbaboon, talks about his food hero in this amazing comic: his wife Danielle.
"The food hero in my life is my wife Danielle.
Danielle shows me she cares by making sure we don't eat garbage. She is picky about the food that I put into my body and takes the time to show me how different meals are cooked. Not only has she saved me from a life of fast food and frozen pizzas, but she has created a love of good food I never had before.
My fondest food memory is when she threw me a Taco Party for my 35th birthday. There is nothing like sharing tacos with all the people you love on your birthday.
Nobody likes making a meal for one. Food is all about sharing and when we share good, healthy food we are building healthy relationships and increasing our physical and mental health. It is important to me to support an organization that uses food in this way. "
